WUC does not require you to have your own BC, DV and cylinder and therefore we have made provision for our members to rent the equipment from us. We also offer an airfill facility to those who have their own gear.
We take care of the maintenance of all the equipment and ensure that the cylinders are always in-date. We strive to ensure that our equipment is always in a 100% working condition. Equipment does however need regular maintenance and if you do find any problems we ask that you inform us as soon as possible so that we can fix the problem.
Derrick and Tony are in charge of the equipment room and are open every Thursday between 5:00pm and 8:00pm. They are also qualified to assist in any queries or problems you may have. You will be required to pay a R100 deposit in case you lose or damage any equipment, this deposit will also be held if the equipment is not bought back in a clean and satisfactory condition.
